Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly will I get access?

Instantly. As soon as you register, you receive a link to the organized Google Drive folder. You can be watching your first session within minutes.

I'm not a specialist. Is this relevant to me?

Absolutely. The course is designed for general neurologists and non-specialist physicians who regularly encounter neurological presentations. Hospitalists, internists, and emergency physicians find it highly practical.

What if I don't have time to watch 49 sessions?

You never lose access. Watch one session this week, pick it up in two months — it's your library to use at your pace. Most clinicians watch 2–3 sessions per week during commutes or lunch.

Is this really worth $145?

One missed diagnosis costs far more — financially, emotionally, and professionally. If a single session helps you catch something faster or avoid a treatment error, it has paid for itself many times over.

How do I access the course content?

The entire course consists of 49 complete high-definition session videos uploaded to a secure Google Drive folder. You will receive immediate access instructions upon registration.

Is there an in-person component?

No, this is an exclusively virtual, on-demand masterclass. All rigorous educational materials are pre-recorded and accessible entirely online from the comfort of your home or office.

The University of Miami Neurology Update has earned its reputation as one of the premier annual reviews in the field, and this edition does not disappoint. The sessions on autoimmune neurology and neuromuscular disorders were exactly what I needed to refine my diagnostic approach to complex cases. The inclusion of representative clinical vignettes throughout each session is what separates this from dry lecture-style CME content — you are always learning within a clinical context. I particularly valued the session addressing the revised AAN brain death criteria, which my institution had only just begun to implement. For the price, the volume and quality of content is unmatched in my experience. A must-have resource.

This is a solid and well-organized course covering a broad range of neurological subspecialties. The headache and migraine module was excellent, and the stroke intensive review brought me up to speed on several recent trials I had not had time to read in full. My only feedback is that a few of the sessions felt slightly rushed in the Q&A portion, leaving some audience questions unanswered. That said, the depth of clinical information presented across all 49 sessions is genuinely impressive for the price point. The faculty roster is world-class and it shows in the quality of the presentations. I would absolutely purchase future editions of this course.

I enrolled in this course as an internist who frequently manages patients with neurological comorbidities, and I was genuinely surprised by how accessible and relevant the content was for a non-specialist. The cognitive neurology and Alzheimer's sessions were incredibly well structured, walking through the updated NIA-AA diagnostic criteria in a way that is immediately usable in outpatient practice. The neuro-oncology module also gave me a much stronger framework for recognizing immunotherapy-related neurological adverse events, which I see more of now that oncology is using checkpoint inhibitors so widely. The lifetime access is a huge plus — I have already gone back to review two sessions. Strongly recommended.

The 59th Annual Neurology Update exceeded every expectation I had going in. I registered primarily for the epilepsy and movement disorders content, but found myself watching every single session back to back over two weekends. The module on distinguishing Parkinson's disease from atypical parkinsonism using bedside red flags was worth the entire price of the course on its own. Within a month of completing it, I correctly identified a Progressive Supranuclear Palsy case that I might previously have managed as standard PD for far too long. The on-demand format is perfect for a busy clinical schedule. I will be recommending this to every colleague in my department.

As a neurologist working in a community hospital setting without regular access to academic conferences, this course has been a game changer for my continuing education. The sessions on multiple sclerosis and novel disease-modifying therapies were particularly outstanding. I changed my approach to early treatment initiation within two weeks of completing those modules. The faculty are clearly at the top of their field and the content is presented without unnecessary complexity. I do wish there were downloadable slide decks to accompany each session, which is the only reason I am giving four stars instead of five. Overall, an exceptional investment in professional development.

I have been attending neurology conferences for over fifteen years, and this is genuinely one of the most comprehensive on-demand review courses I have ever encountered. The stroke module alone updated my clinical decision-making in ways I did not expect. The faculty presentations are clear, focused, and directly applicable to real patient scenarios. I especially appreciated how each session included case vignettes that mirrored situations I encounter weekly in my practice. The panel Q&A segments are where this course truly shines — hearing experts debate nuanced therapeutic choices is invaluable. The Google Drive delivery is seamless and I have rewatched three sessions already. Highly recommend to any neurologist wanting a rigorous annual refresh.
